I work for a Recruitment company. Can I use Wotjob?

Yes, we accept all advertising from Recruitment companies. Our only rules are that you do not charge the potential employee any fees and that normal terms between you and your client exist (i.e. you make your money from the Employer in the normal way.) As long as you place jobs you can contact the potential employees about positions you have.  go to top

I can't see the place My Job is located in listed

That's deliberate. We have listed the towns and cities (in the drop down boxes) in Australia with the highest concentrations of population. The reason we ask you to put the nearest major town or city as your location is because Employees fill out their location in exactly the same way. We do this because say a potential employee is living 20 miles east of Melbourne and a job you place is 10 miles north of Melbourne you wouldn't find each other. As we group both the job and you as being in the location of Melbourne you can find the Employee and the Employee finds you. It's that simple and that's why we do it this way. On job details box just fill out the exact location of the job. Remember that the employees will move to a job if it's right for both of you.  go to top

How do I know they are eligible to work?

A WHM has to have a Tax File number otherwise they cannot work. You are entitled to see the visa in their passport and treat them as a normal employee. Pay them the way you do all your staff, either directly to the Australian bank account they must have, or through cash payments and wages slip, with the normal deductions for Superannuation and Tax.  go to top
