The two North Island commercial ski fields, one of which is the country's largest, are located on the slopes of Mount Ruapehu in the central North Island. the central South Island is Mount Hutt ski field, with the longest ski season in the country.New Zealand's only Nordic skiing area, near Wanaka, has 25km of groomed cross-country trails.Heliskiing options are also available. Snowboarders are welcome at all major fields and a number of New Zealand ski areas hold snowboard competitions each year.

The Zorb is big, it's fat, it's round and bouncy, you jump inside it, it rolls, you roll to. A Zorb is a large inflated plastic sphere, with another sphere inside. Just strap yourself in, then roll down the hill! You can reach speeds of up to 50km per hour as you rotate inside an already rotating sphere. Zorbing is very safe,as there is a cushion of air between you and the ground. You can try Zorbing at The Agrodome in Rotorua,or just out of Paihia in the Bay of Islands

		Bungy jumping gives a person the opportunity to overcome their inner fears and gives them a massive dose of adrenaline.During the 1980's, A.J. Hackett developed a safe, standard method of jumping so people could have lots of fun, but feel totally safe. After a number of test jumps (including the Eiffel Tower), A.J. introduced bungy jumping to New Zealand and now the company operates throughout the world.
The Pipeline Bungy (102 metres) Queenstown's Highest Bungy Jump. Set in the awesome Skippers Canyon 102 metres above the Shotover River. Your experience begins with a four-wheel drive expedition along a very unique road. A drive via Skippers Road is wild, breathtaking, historically interesting and scenically beautifu-this is truly an adventure
in itself. However, waiting around the corner at the end of the canyon is the Pipeline Bungy high above the Shotover River - your final mission awaits! Jump and Transport - Duration 4 hours.
