The Ministry of Labor, for more than fifty years, has endeavoured to bring closer the parties. This long tradition, supported by an continuous education, made it possible to the mediators to acquire a solid experiment and to develop their capacity to intervene in a multitude of situations. This competence is recognized in Quebec, in Canada like abroad.

One of the commitments of the Ministry consists in supporting the establishment and the hold of harmonious business acquaintances between the employers and associations of employees. That contributes to the fact that nearly 95% of the subjugated collective agreements to the Labor regulation of Quebec are regulated without sick leave.
