INFORMATION WORK is the electronic bulletin of information of the Ministry of Labor produced and disseminated five times the year.
The Second international days of study on the work and the practices of intervention were held in Quebec August 27th, 28th and 29th 2008. This conference, under the set of themes “Glances crossed on the transfers of work” was organized jointly by the Department of the labor relations of the University Laval, a committee of Québécois partners of the work world, the Ministry of Labor of Quebec as well as the National agency for the improvement of the work conditions of France.
The Mr., Minister for Labor David , invited the few 300 participants to innovate to answer the current challenges in the field of work. “In fact the challenges miss in the work world. It will constantly be necessary for us to innovate if we want to face new economic realities and demographic with which we are confronted”, it specified.
It was the occasion for the experts, experts and managements and labor as well European as American, to swap on the most recent studies and the most relevant practices with a view the advance of knowledge for better fulfilling the requirements posed by the current transfers of work.
Quebec-France: The France-Quebec co-operation in the field of work took this summer the form of an intensive meeting of one one week duration formation on the social dialog and, in particular, the collective bargain and the modes of regulation of the conflicts. This formation took place in Montreal in July and was held for a group of 35 people coming from New Caledonia. The meeting benefitted from the knowledge and the experiment of specialists on the matter such Daniel , Normand Gauthier and Fernand , then respectively assistant deputy minister of Work, chairman of the Council of the essential services and chairman of the Advisory counsel of work and labor.
June 18th, the Minister for Labor, Mr. David , filed in with the National Assembly bill N O 98 amending the Law on the standards of work in the aim of protection the link of employment of the paid reservists of the Canadian Forces.

PLC - the Commission of the professional lesions celebrates its ten years of existence in 2008. Court of last authority near the workers and the employers disputing the decisions of the , it was created on April 1st, 1998. The Commission recently publishes for its customers a bulletin entitled Info Court.
- The Mr., Minister for Labor David , deposited with the National Assembly, on June 17th, 2008, the Annual report of management 2277 0005 of the Commission of the standards of work. The also inaugurated during the summer a new website.
- The Commission of the business acquaintances publishes in its web site the justified decisions returned by the police chiefs. Since April 2008, one also finds there those of splitting “construction and professional qualifications”.
- The outgoing president of the Council of the essential services, Mr. Normand Gauthier, presented his management Report the 2277 0005 on May 23rd, 2008.

Canada - the Regulation amending the Canadian Regulation on health and the security with work, a regulation with a view counter violence in work environment in the firms under federal jurisdiction like in the federal civil service, will be implemented from now on to Canada, four years after the coming into effect of such a regulation in Quebec.
Canada - the Advisory committee on information on job market , a federal entity made up of five members and a chairman (Mr. Don Drummond, appointed in July at this post), advises the governments federal, provincial and territorial on the job market so that they can better meet the needs for the employers and the workers. France - a employers'-trade-union agreement was reached in July, after a difficult negotiation as for a plan and a prevention program to counter the job stress. A European master agreement for this purpose exists since 2004. >>>
First worldwide -- Creation, in July, of the first overall trade union: plain Workers or , intervened between UNITY, the largest trade union of the United Kingdom and the greatest trade union of the American and Canadian private sector, the Union (USW). From September 28th to 30th - annual convention about the advisers in human resources and labor relations approved will take place under the topic “the mark of the employer”, in the Center of the congresses from Quebec, Quebec. The Ministry of Labor will ensure its presence the event by a kiosk of information animated by its Service to customer.

Soon three years ago was born in Quebec a first regrouping from autonomous workers known under the term from Coalition from the workers and the autonomous workers from Quebec (). This coalition, founded in October 2005, by the association of five regroupings of autonomous workers, would represent approximately 290 450 workers, that is to say the tenth of the Task Force of Quebec, according to the coalition. The was given for mission of defending the interests of these workers and of representing them with the various authorities like, for example, within the Québécois Regime of parental insurance.
This movement in Quebec is representative of a new tendency initially born in the United States, to facilitate, by the regrouping of people without fastener, the access to services and rights inaccessible to the isolated autonomous workers.
